Technically Talking, teacup poodles are certainly not regarded as purebred dogs according to the breed benchmarks established because of the American Kennel Club. It's because the teacup poodle is selectively bred from toy poodles and doesn’t meet the size needs for being labeled as being a toy poodle. My journey with dogs, from my childhood Lab
